How I train people — in the gym, online, and for sport

Everything below can be shaped around you. If what you want isn't listed, ask me anyway.

One-to-one in the gym

These take whatever direction you need them to.

New to training? We focus on getting good form nailed down and building the confidence to walk into a gym and know what you're doing.

Got experience already? Then we plan around the areas you want to see change, and I'll tailor the sessions to how you actually move rather than to a template.

I'm based at Vo2 in Portadown, and I'm happy to discuss alternatives.

Online and hybrid coaching

If you can't get to the gym with me, or you only want to some of the time, online and hybrid coaching is available.

Programming currently runs through Truecoach. I'm also working with Tacocat Technologies on a new localised app of my own, which is in development.

Strength and conditioning for sport

This is a proper part of what I do, not a sideline.

I've run preseason strength and conditioning with local Intermediate A football clubs — men's, ladies' and youth teams — and coached youth football with a local academy. I've worked with individual clients in the gym and in a sports setting who've played first-team football and at international level.

Football, hockey and boxing all come through the door. If you play something else, ask.

Nutrition advice

I'm qualified in nutrition to Level 2 (Precision Nutrition), and I'll support you with nutrition advice alongside your training.

That means practical advice on eating around your sessions and building habits you can actually stick to — a conversation that runs alongside the programme rather than a document I hand you and walk away from.

What I don't do is write medical or clinical diets. If what you need is a dietitian or a chat with your GP, I'll tell you straight.

Introductions, one-offs and short blocks

You don't have to commit to anything open-ended.

  • Introduction sessions — come and see what it's like
  • One-offs — a single session on something specific
  • Build plans — a programme put together for you
  • Training with a date on it — a holiday, a preseason, an event

Who I work best with

People who want change.

I have the knowledge, the experience and the tools to deliver the change you want. You only have to want it.

I work with all sorts — team settings, individual settings, complete beginners and people who've been training for years.

What it costs

Get in touch and we'll talk it through. I'm easy to talk to, and I'd rather have a conversation about what you actually need than put a number on a page that fits nobody.
